Karen Babb, Pharm.D.
Dr. Karen Babb obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Mercer University in 2002. After completing a pharmacy practice residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 2003, she accepted a clinical pharmacy specialist position with CHI Memorial in Chattanooga, TN. She currently serves as a Lead Pharmacist and is the PGY1 Residency Program Director at CHI Memorial. Dr. Babb is an affiliate faculty member for the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy, Mercer University, and East Tennessee State University College of Pharmacy. She is an active member of TPA, TSHP, and ASHP where she has served on the residency advisory committee and membership engagement committees for TPA. She is an APPE and IPPE Preceptor of the Year for The University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy. She is a graduate of both the ASHP Pharmacy Leadership Academy and most recently the ASHP Pharmacy Leadership Institute.
