Rachel Anderson, Pharm.D.
Dr. Rachel Anderson completed her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Mississippi in 2015. She then completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy in 2018. She went on to complete her PGY-1 residency and PGY-2 Critical Care residency at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, AL. Post-residency she worked as an Internal Medicine Clinical Specialist at the University of Kentucky Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, KY. She now serves as our lead Emergency Department pharmacist at CHI Memorial Hospital. She has obtained her Board Certifications as a Pharmacotherapy Specialist and in Critical Care Pharmacy. Her areas of interest include: critical care medicine, emergency medicine, and cardiology. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and reading or listening to true crime. Dr. Anderson is a preceptor for the Emergency Medicine learning experience and serves as a residency research mentor.
