In 2006, Franklin Baker received his Bachelors of Science and in 2008 his Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Kettering College of Medical Arts is Dayton, Ohio. Out of school he worked in a level II trauma ER in Cincinnati, OH before finding his place in family practice. He then spent over five years in family practice in Cincinnati, in conjunction with the National Health Service, before moving to Chattanooga.
Motivated by his desire to use his skills to help the underserved, Franklin has also traveled to places like Namibia, Africa, Port-A-Paix, Haiti, and many more, caring for those without direct access to medical care. This has given him a broad perspective on different medical cultures.
Franklin is certfied in lifestyle medicine by the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. His medical interest lies in preventative medicine. He enjoys helping people maintain healthy living while avoiding illness. He does this by caring for the whole person including body and mind.
Franklin's personal passions are his family and endurance athletics. His wife Jenny and kids, Luci and Levi, believe in the work Franklin does and enjoy being his biggest fans. He's also a passionate endurance athlete having completed IronMans to 100 mile trail runs. Helping others accomplish physical goals and experience a healthy and vibrant life brings Franklin tremendous satisfaction. He's grateful to work in a practice with resources to help a person's whole-self thrive.
