Maggie was a nurse for more than 20 years before pursuing a nurse practitioner certification. She earned her nursing degree from Germanna Community College in Fredericksburg, Virginia before completing a bachelor of science and a master of science in nursing degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. She then completed a post-masters family nurse practitioner’s certification from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Maggie also holds degrees in history and art history from the University of Michigan. She has been a practicing nurse practitioner since 2010.  

After caring for people in critical care, the emergency room and pediatrics, becoming a nurse practitioner was a logical progression in Maggie’s career. As a lifelong learner, Maggie has enjoyed all aspects of her nursing career, especially working with the geriatric population and staying up to date on the latest advancements, procedures and medications that impact patient care and a person’s quality of life. She enjoys the connections she’s made at CHI Memorial Integrative Medicine Associates and caring for people in her community.

Maggie and her husband live in Walden, Tennessee where they are always planning their next international adventure.
