That’s why our fellowship trained breast surgeons and specialized staff strive to provide same day diagnostic imaging, surgical consultation and biopsy to reduce a typically long journey.

With breast cancer, successful treatment starts with an accurate diagnosis. We offer the most advanced imaging technology for our patients like tomosynthesis mammography, a technique that creates a 3D image of breast tissue to help screen patients for breast cancer. Our highly accurate diagnostic tests are used to evaluate and develop a treatment plan if necessary. 

When someone is diagnosed with breast cancer, their specific case is presented at CHI Memorial’s multi-disciplinary breast conference, where their plan of care is discussed with a surgical oncologist, plastic surgeon, pathologist and radiation and medical oncologists. Working as a team, our renowned staff of specialists will provide you with a customized plan and your best chances for a full recovery.
